MA JEERA DEVI COLLEGE OF EDUCATION, LATEHAR was established by SHREE ASHOKA KALYAN SANSTHAN, MANIKA a Registered Society under constitution of India. Since its inception, it is making sustained effort to impart value-based education to young students of Jharkhand , being the multi lingual and multi dimensional city which offers congenial educational atmosphere for Integrated Course Teacher Education from 2024. B.A.-B.Ed./B.Sc.-B.Ed./B.Com.-B.Ed. is a four years integrated programme which aims at integrating general studies in arts and professional studies in education

The College is situated in the middle of City on a big piece of land having boundary on all sides. It has its own building. The campus is adorned by orchards and flower plants which makes teaching learning situation meaninful as well as attractive.It has an excellent computer centre and well stocked library.

The College is going to be affiliated from National Council for Teacher Education soon. It is affiliated to University. The Integrated course of BA B.Ed. of four academic year starting from 1st of July & ends of 31st of May.

The College maintains a high standard of teaching learning situation, which is reflected by its University results. It organizes co-curricular activities in the campus during the session. The teaching staff are well qualified all having post graduate degrees in school subjects as well as in Education with good educational achievements. Some of them possess Ph. D.     B.A.-B.Ed. is a four year integrated programme which aims at integrating general studies in arts and professional studies in education. It provides a wide knowledge base for becoming an elementary and secondary school teacher.
    B.Sc. B.Ed. This specialized integrated curriculum is for aspirants who want to pursue it right after graduating with a B.Sc. .
    B.Com. B.Ed. This specialized integrated curriculum is for aspirants who want to pursue it right after graduating with a B.Com. .

    Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam)
    Pass with 50% aggregate marks in Senior Secondary or 10+2 or equivalent. (5% relaxation for SC or ST or BC applicants) Admission Criteria Direct. One year B.Ed. Programme from 2024 ( Proposed)

    B.Ed. after the Post Graduation. This specialized integrated curriculum is for aspirants who want to pursue it right after Post graduating with a B.A., B.Sc. & B.Com. .
